im seriously considering getting a 360 if resistance 2 sucks for gears 2

Resistance wont suck, don't fear. Insomniac dont make bad games

No Resistance wont suck, but it will be dwarfed by Gears.  To my knowledge Insomniac don't have a AAA shooter to their name ever.  And they dont have a single AAA game this generation thus far.

I think you are too hung up on this "AAA" label. Resistance recieved about 87% and Racthet 89% on Game rankings last I checked.

if them 2 games was on 360 then they would have got AAA for sure.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Shio is just trying to make his favorite gaming system seem worth a damn anymore :( can't blame him, since we are basically saying it doesn't matter.
I think Computers are used as internet pc's far more than gaming pc's nowadays though.

Anyone who believes PC gaming is dieing is just ignorant. The estimated value of the console and PC industry is:

2007 Console Software Revenue: $14 billions

2007 PC Games Revenue: $11.3 billions

Now remove the PS2's Revenue and we get PC being bigger than the entire Next Gen Consoles.

DFC estimated that the Online Revenue of PC Games in 2007 was $7 Billions!!! As big as the entire console industry did in North-America!

DFC also reported that PC Gaming will increase 73% in the next 5 years. Steam increased 150% last year and the most emerging gaming market is Continental Asia, which is completely dominated by PC.

Seriously, check some info before you say ignorant things.

and how much of that is casual? Exactly.

Then remove Wii, Guitar Hero and GTA IV and we get the console industry declining like 50% compared to Last Gen.

That list has around 100 PC exclusives, and that's nowhere near the amount PC really has in 2008. It totally crushes Xbox 360's lineup both in amount and in quality.

The only thing I can see is, that the multiplatform lineup crushes all the PC exclusives

doesnt that happen in all platforms? Atleast PC is able to hold against it a bit.

Shio is right. You are very ignorant if you think PC gaming is dead. I am pretty sure it is bigger, or at least the same size, as console gaming in Europe.

Well, the Online Revenue of PC is as big as the North-American's Console Industry, and the Traditional Revenue of PC is probably as big as Japan + Oceania's Console Industry, so:

If  North-America + Japan + Oceania > Europe, then yes.

Can you give a breakdown on what games sell the most on PC, shio? I am just curious. Does online poker count towards that total? LOL.

I meant PC gaming in Europe > console gaming in Europe.

And seeing how xbox fans are try to make out that 360/PC games are 360 exclusive because they think PC gaming is dead, (in a similar way to PS3/360 being pretty much PS3 exclusive in Japan), PC gaming >>> 360 gaming.
