Can't say that I'm bothered by this.

Until they confirm that the controllers themselves don't work with the original Gamecube console, I'll remain calm.

Boooooooo

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Oh, come on. Don't do those type of news screw ups.

Hasn't Nintendo UK caused a few PR debacles lately? I seem to remember one recently, maybe about a release date or something.

This is disappointing, but what confuses me is that why it needs to be clarified that it doesn't work with Wii? Wii already has slots for GameCube remotes, am I missing something here?

The more recent Wii consoles don't have GC controller slots. (I think it was 2012 onwards)

Fans: LAME. DISAPPOINTED. BS.

Me: Still buying. *Sun glasses*

Never get excited quickly my friends. & Nintendo, please write FAQ details about this stuff after announcment next time.

Next thing you know, 2 weeks after controller comes out. "This update allows the function of the gamecube adapter in Wii mode, and various Wii U VC"

Wait, yesterday I read an article that was completely contrary to this. It said it was compatible with any game that could use a classic controller pro or anything like that.

 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Yeah they jumped the gun by announcing the Mario Kart 8 DLC too soon.
