well it lacks 1 shoulder button    home and minus (plus is start)

Not in a million years. They won't even put all the DLC out for it. Wish I was wrong though. But hey, now my Wii U is even closer to being an official GameCube 2.0!!!

Is it wrong that I'm more excited to be able to play Tatsunoko vs. Capcom with GC controllers again over Smash? I can't even take that game online anymore.

Was it Miyamoto, Iwata or Reggie?

Goodie, might reconsider pick this thing up when Smash comes out!

I can't play most 2D fighters with the regular GC controller because the D-Pad is too small.  

Though I do use the GC Pelican Retro Pad which is a rip off of the GC Hori Digital Pad.  

The Pelican Pad has a circular shield type D-Pad instead of the true cross D-Pad that the Hori has. 

But it's still a big and responsive D-Pad that works good if you're used to playing SFII on the SNES.

Even games on the Wii VC? Because. Then. I. Could. Play. POKEMON PUZZLE LEAGUE!!! With a Gamecube controller instead of that piece of shit Classic Controller (it's really not a terrible controller, just doesn't work well for PPL). Prease make a Pokemon Puzzle League for the Wii U. I'll make it a million seller, I promise!

Now, just bring the great GC games remastered to Wii U and relase a Wii U GC edition to make it the perfect GC revival! :)
