Veknoid and I both went to action the post within seconds of each other. Veknoid gave it a warning, which I then saw and used to escalate it to a one day ban.

Of course, by the time I went to leave a mod note in the post, Veknoid had already done so.

This doesn't happen often, but when it does standard practice is just to rescind the second moderation, which I have now done

if I'm ever about to get permabanned I'll have my mole inside the mod team give me a 1 day ban seconds before.  You'll have no choice but to rescind :p

I've seen people get banned constantly for insulting fanbases (happened to me as well) so I'm curious as to why this post wasn't moderated? A mod posted in the thread so I know they saw it.

Yeah it was literally being moderated as you made the comment. Reporting is the best approach here, we had noticed this one but if a post goes unchecked it's possible we merely haven't seen it.

Plain as day trolling as is every Rare thread. If you guys ever wonder why people stick to XBE, well there you have it.

I agree that some of the comments are predictable and don't add anything to the conversation, but there are many topics that are always shat on when they come up.  The Order 1886 for example.

It seems silly to restrict yourself to one bit of the site because of it.

People get too defensive when it comes to exclusives, even when they bomb. Imagine if people could accept or simply ignore other people opinions, what a world we'd live in!
