Forums - Sony - Where are Driveclub reviews?

I never said that PGR is the end all of racing games I'm just saying that DriveClub is nowhere similar to PGR.

Lots of Gaffers are saying it reminds them of PGR to a certain extent. It's not really surprising considering it has some of the PGR devs working on it.

I'm pretty sure that a lot of people that say that its similar to PGR probably never even played a PGR game.

Well you can't fool anybody either by saying that you have played PGR and Horizon I on the other hand  can proof it all you have to do is look up my gamertag which is in my signature.

You have not played drive club.  Car count and radio stations don't make a racing game... You are reaching.  Your agenda in this thread is clear

No agenda here the people that claim that DriveClub is even close to PGR are the ones that are out of line.

Oh you've played Driveclub? How'd do you manage to get an early copy?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

so im just maing fun of the mistake not the game so dont bite my head off

theres a grammer error on the driveclub box.  "rave in hundreds of online and offline players"  hows does that even make sense lol

And lots that did. .. Why would they say it is similar in an impression thread and lie about it? Straw man argument you cannot prove

Only because it has point system doesn't make it similar to PGR but I know by personal experience that the point system in the Horizon games is very similar to the kudos system in PGR.

Not only is there a scoring system for performing maneuvers but the handling controls in both games are comparative ...

This piece ends your qualms about Driveclub not being similar to PGR. After having read an Xbox guru's thoughts about Driveclub who happens to be a fan of PGR says otherwise so I think we can dismiss your argument for the most part.

You heard it here people, that Xbox guru is excited for Driveclub filling the void left by PGR ...

Your posts in a nutshell:

"I have not played DC but i am qualified to compare it with PGR"

"Other people who are playing DC are not qualified to compare it with PGR. Because my telepathic skills tell me they never played (the baseless assumption part that you keep refusing) PGR."

Really, think about it. You're trying to argue that a person that has played PGR but not DC can compare while a person that has played DC but not (according to you, somehow) played PGR can't do it. Despite the fact that you're both in the same position.

Logic, how does it work?

Yeah, I always assume that all the Gaffers saying this are lying. It's just coincidental that PGR devs are working on the game. What are you worried about? Are you worried that if word of it being similar to PGR gets out, lots of 360 owners will buy it? I sure hope they do. Another PGR will suit them down to the ground.

PGR is all about street races Driveclub has zero street races.  Anyone that even thinks that the two games are even somewhat similar is reaching.

So shouldnt reviews be out right about now? Any news about some reviews already released?
