Congrats, you just hit bottom of the barrel. No argument whatsoever, baseless assumptions and for some reason employees = same work. Ok.

LOL baseless assumption you don't even have a clue what baseless asumtions are.  Like I said before I actually played both games a ton check my sig I know they are very similar from actual gameplay experience not looking at videos.  But I wouldn't expect anything better from you since you are also cluess to what a key feature in a game is.

Unlike YOU, i have played both of those AND Driveclub. And all you're doing is drawing connections out of thin air. Horizon is nothing like PGR, Driveclub is not "like PGR" but it is close to PGR. Closer than many games. Your agenda here is clear, I don't know why you think you can fool anybody.

A review embargo is never good news, hopefully it isn't too bad...

Pretty sure there was one for the Last of Us.

Review embargos manytimes have the purpose of "gathering reviews". The reviews will be ready before the embargo lifts and when it does lift will have like 20 reviews at once, this way not 1 single opinion ends up swaying more opinions than it should and consumers have a better idea of the actual quality of the product. The Last of Us had an embargo like our friend say it was pretty obviously not a bad game, there are plenty of other similar cases. Not saying this is the case with Driveclub but an embargo in itself is no reason for concerns.

Why are trolls who never played the game in this thread? Early impressions are the game is awesome it leaked early.

Well you can't fool anybody either by saying that you have played PGR and Horizon I on the other hand  can proof it all you have to do is look up my gamertag which is in my signature.

I always hear that, yet I can't think of any games that haven't had review embargos until at least the day before release.

Nintendo usually allows this kind of approach, the reviews for Hyrule Warriors appeared 1 week before the release, and you can already find a few ones for Bayonetta 2, and is still almost 3 weeks away.

We don't care. Thanks.

I think meta will be around 80 but the delay and all the stuff around the game "patch for weather will not be in launch game" while the game got a massive delay (for its quality, of course, but still...) and still seems a little bit light on content will be negative points in reviews.

While I agree with what you are saying I believe delays should NEVER factor into a review score.

Reminds me back when GT5 was reviewed and it was docked points due to delays, as if they have anything to do with how the game plays.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

That's actually a myth that is unsupported by the data. Review embargoes do not correlate with high/low scores.

What makes you think this is a myth? It is well known in cinema when there are rereview embargos, that the studio doesnt have faith that the movie will review good. Why would video games be any different? Why have an embargo at all then?

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

You have not played drive club.  Car count and radio stations don't make a racing game... You are reaching.  Your agenda in this thread is clear

Driveclub has no kinda point system so nothing like kudos which is pretty much present in all racing games ever created by Bizzare Creations starting with Metropolis Street Racer and a key feature of every PGR game.  Horizon has a point system and its pretty much like the kudos system in PGR.  The freestyle driving in Horizon pretty much only comes to play in the free roam or some of the online modes like infected mode in the actual races its about clean racing and pulling of strings of skill points (kudos).  Also DriveClub is not a hybrid sim racer since none of the cars are tuneable or upgradable.

Have you even seen anything of this game? Yes it does. It's called fame. And yes it's a simcade, determined by its handling system.

Still not as close to the kudos system as the point system in the Horzion game.  Also you must have no clue what a sim racer is if you call Driveclub a simcade.
Another thing PGR is all about street racing a good chunck of both Horizon games is made up of street races none of the races in Driveclub are street races they are all circuit races.

How is it not close to the kudos system explain?  You don't know anything about DC you are clearly trolling.  Tuning does not make a game a Sim lol.  DC is a hybrid period.
