Why would gamers love it in the first place? And why so defensive? Let's just people try it out and everyone builds up his own mind. This includes reviewers.


Game leaked early and impressions are excellent.  One reviewer tweeted surprise of 2014. Gamers love good games.

Out of line?  For having an opinion?  PGR is not the be all end all of racing games.  DC looks and plays amazing period.

You have a 127 page thread on Gaf because of the excitement for Driveclub
You have astonishing footage of the lighting/tracks/environments/whether/cars
You have hundreds of Gaffers saying the gameplay is fantastic and the sense of speed is extraordinary
You have hundreds of Gaffers buying Driveclub based on the impressions
You have fever-pitch levels of eager Gaffers making clubs left right and centre

Forget the reviews, Driveclub is going to be epic.

I never said that PGR is the end all of racing games I'm just saying that DriveClub is nowhere similar to PGR.

Curious to see the reviews. Game seems to be getting praise left and right by those who have it.

Can't wait to check it out tomorrow thanks to PS+.

I would also laugh if any of these reviews compare it to PGR.

I would not worry about reviews. More and more they are at odds with what gamers like.

Only because it has point system doesn't make it similar to PGR but I know by personal experience that the point system in the Horizon games is very similar to the kudos system in PGR.
