Forums - Sony - Where are Driveclub reviews?

Doesn't really matter to me I just read reviews to see if there are any technical issues and then I watch videos to see how it plays. Can't trust reviewers beyond that. Hell even when it comes to telling you about technical issues reviewers can drop the ball.

Go to Twitch and search Driveclub under channels. There are already bunch of people playing it.

It has cities but it doesn't make any impact on the gameplay. It's an Arcade Racer at it's core.

It is not a direct competitor to any Forza.

Well the true  spiritual succesor to PGR is the Horizon series besides Lucids Games, Playground Games has more ex Bizzare Creations (the creators of PGR) employees then anybody else.

I'm not exactly so sure about after having seeing gameplay for Forza Horizon 2 ... There's a lot more freestyle driving gameplay mechanics compared to Driveclub. With Forza Horizon the devs aim is to make the game chaotic as possible compared to Driveclub asking for more order in it's gameplay.

Driveclub is much closer to PGR in terms of it's hybrid sim/arcade racing design philosophy than Forza Horizon is ...

Driveclub is closer to Gran Turismo 2 design philosophy than PGR in my opinion.

Driveclub has no kinda point system so nothing like kudos which is pretty much present in all racing games ever created by Bizzare Creations starting with Metropolis Street Racer and a key feature of every PGR game.  Horizon has a point system and its pretty much like the kudos system in PGR.  The freestyle driving in Horizon pretty much only comes to play in the free roam or some of the online modes like infected mode in the actual races its about clean racing and pulling of strings of skill points (kudos).  Also DriveClub is not a hybrid sim racer since none of the cars are tuneable or upgradable.

Have you even seen anything of this game? Yes it does. It's called fame. And yes it's a simcade, determined by its handling system.

doesn't need others opinion for this game at all... it just a simple casual and social driving game so far with the most impressive graphics effect i liked, waiting to get my hands on it tomorrow...

Still not as close to the kudos system as the point system in the Horzion game.  Also you must have no clue what a sim racer is if you call Driveclub a simcade.
Another thing PGR is all about street racing a good chunck of both Horizon games is made up of street races none of the races in Driveclub are street races they are all circuit races.

It's a similar system. You must have no clue what arcade racers and sim racers are if you call Driveclub a arcade game.
Another thing is that it doesn't matter if the background is a city, fields, a space station or Kim Kardashian's bottocks, it's what goes on in the actual racing. Where DC is closer to PGR, and where Horizon has no connection with PGR whatsoever.
