Well trying to back to the topic

I just checked the comparison and both looks blurry for me... they are using a bad AA implementation like FXAA but looks a bit worst. Of course the Xbone version looks more blurry than PS4 version but even the PS4 version is not sharper at all.

Or maybe is it the motion blur?

Hmm was actually going to get this for PS4. PC it is. PS4 will come in handy for idtech5 games though.

I would still recomend the PS4 version personally.  Imo it looks better minus the 30 FPS.  However the 30 FPS is so stable that it isn't a big deal.

60fps is still a huge deal in terms of resonsiveness in these types of games. Anyone who's played Batman on PC vs consoles knows just how much better the combat is.

What is the revisionism going on this thread?

The talk about for almost a full week was that that the PS4 was close to 60fps and the XOne was a mer 720p with locked 30fps, a almost 400% performance delta.

There is a 10 pages thread here talking about how bad the XOne version were facing the PS4 (two threads in fact!). And how that was a "proof" that the gap was getting wider!

So, here we are with the gap at the same as it always have been unless de developers put some extra work.

It´s a pure, shameless hate agenda, that is damaging not only Microsoft but game developers and promoting a unfair competition.

If only you guy got payed for spreding FUD...

SDK's for both console's will improve. Power gap won't change. Same old B.S. on the internet. Some still think the PS.4 is going to get more powerful. Funny as hell.

Is it blurry only during action or even when things are staying relatively still? Also, I wonder how the motion blur affects the responsiveness of the controls.

Your post is hilarious lol

Unfrair competition you say? Who is trying to hide performance and asking for parity is hurting the game developers and you know who is.

And you a guy that says that don't see difference between 720p, 900p and 1080 is the most biased of all here.

In non-action scenes too... the AA is not good... it look worst than FXAA.

About the second point I don't know... from what I see the PC have motion blur in some parts but are absent from others (bug?) and it is not possible to on/off the motion blur to make tests about control response.

Yet after almost a year this gap has not gotting bigger or smaller. that higher ceiling has been being used already and thats why PS4 games look better then X1 games, and that 40-50% on Paper wont be as noticable with your eyes as long as PS4 keeps doing 1080P and x1 keeps doing 900P, imo if the PS4 dropped its res down to 900P too you would notice that extra power more..

Yeah, blurring the image is a sure way to understand the extra power. I always play at 480p on PC, the differences are mindblowing.

People didnt mind playing in Sub HD lastgen and 900P is a huge step up from that. And if its only about res do you think Battlefield 2 would look better then say Battlefield 4 if one was in 720P and the other in 1080P??

Soo, 900p is a huge step up but 1080p is not?

Of course it is not only about the res, it is just that you need to match the resolution of your screen first, then you care about the eye candy. If you care about your eyes anyway.

Well that's a darn shame

Usually, adding motion blur negatively affects responsiveness in controls. It's more of a useful tool in movies hence why 24 fps doesn't look choppy. However, it is not the same when applied to video games, especially when you're interactiing with images, not watching them. Driveclub seems to be one of the exceptions since people who have tried its demos said that the controls were very responsive. However, I'm not so sure if Shadow of Mordor will be the same case.

We will neve know

The controls are fine... it didn't affect the fun playing the game on consoles.

PC seems to have better gameplay from what some guys told me but it is more because the smooth 60fps you can get than the lack of motion blur I guess.
