True, more is better, but I can't find 270s at $40 around here (DFW). I regularly get decent stuff like 660s for $90 though. I really like the 750ti, but haven't seen many people letting them go yet.

My favorite cheap system I've built lately was a used i7-920, 6GB DDR3-1600, 1TB HDD, and a 7790 2GB. I picked it up used for $120 because someone crashed it and thought it was bad hardware. It even had a 750W Corsair PSU. I threw in a 128GB SSD I had left over, slapped a CM 212+ Evo on it, and it's now running cold at 3.8Ghz and chewing up games at 1080P nicely. I even talked the guy into saving up for a 970 OC Edition (I get to use it for a day or two first so I can see if I want to dump my 770 SLI setup.).

Regionality is a big thing with prices, no doubt. It really does influence just how "budget" you can make even a decently high-specced PC. My current system runs an OCed FX-6300 with an 7870, bought together for ~200$ a couple of years ago. The rest of the parts, RAM and otherwise, were cheap and the whole build ended up around 700$ when I built it from zero a couple of years back. Its still more than capable of out-gunning consoles, especially if I push the the card with some OCing.

And the anti XOne agenda has work it again.

I´ve looked back to back every image in DF article. Didn´t ready, to much explanation for to similar images.

Along side Ryse, Metro Redux, and Diablo 3, I´m start wonder why choose 1080p over 900p if people can´t see the difference. `PS4 games would benefit also.

You just keep repeating that, maybe it'll be true one day

blow the ps4 out of the water? just like shadow of morder needs crazy hardware to max it out yet it doesn't blow the ps4 version out of the water. It stands up to it fairly well. You shouldn't exagerate! The PS4 is the perfect level of graphics for the forseable future.

Well then if we are going by what you are saying here since on paper if i added a new GFX card to my PC it would blow the PS4 out of the water (Even if many devs never took use of it this gen) The Ps4 is only a tiny bit more powerful then the X1 and will never look much better then it even if on paper its 40-50% more powerful, see how that works?? .

It means that the PS4 being 40% or whatever more powerful than the X1 results in some games looking a bit better and some looking the same. There are games on PS3 that stand up to games on the PS4. Game developers will hardly ever utilize the power of the high end PC's at the time. Unless you build it for the odd graphical show piece it's an utter waste of money building a really high end PC especially if you play games for fun.

I've gamed on PC and I'm more than happy buying a cheapconsold (PS4) as it easily satisfies my graphical needs and then has a ton of great games I like.

I dont blame you mate, and for the price the PS4 is a nice bit of kit its why i also own one (But then i end up buying all consoles anyways for the exclusives), But my mean point from the start wasnt a PS4 vs PC argument, and instead was me just stating that the has never been a better time to get into PC gaming even if only as a 2nd device, but other people (Not you) keeps bringing it back to make it look like im trying to say something different.

ok i get you now. i'm the same boat as you. game on my pc and ps4. the funny thing is my pc graphics are less than my ps4 but i'm still happy with it. Not having a go at stronger pc's but i just can't get my head on people spending thousands for upgrades that don't equal the price or  get utilitized.

This game is..... awesome fun lol....

What is your example of a non-completely wrong term to use in this case though?

I think Cerny's "Time to triangle" is just fine. The use of "triangle" is understood by the context.

Sorry for the late reply, btw.
