Forums - Gaming - PES 2015: 1080p/60fps on PS4, 720p/60fps on Xbox One & PS3

Here's another comparison video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHsiuE5J8B0

PES 2015 does a much better job with the shading. The colors on FIFA 15 look too saturated and "clean".

Very poor programming. Fifa 15 looks vastly superior and is the same on both next gen consoles . Still at least its just sharpness and not framerate.

Mmmmm ...

Been here already. I have played both games. No offense but you can read my replies and others replies to this.

I havent enjoyed PES since PS2. For a fooball game having 8 players locally in the same room is more important. 4v4 parties. Or 8 player online parties. Lots of Football fans still do this. I actually did this yesterday with Fifa 15 and a load of beers. Was awesome.

Because this game is so advanced that the poor xbox one can't handle it when fifa is miles above it and it's 1080p and 60fps on both.Konami at it's best.Did they already spend the check Sony gave them?

Lol, you really think Sony would spend money on this? This is obviously just the developer being lazy as fuck.

The sales and quality of pes games have sharply declined the last few years but I still know many people that are ready to get a new console just to play the latest installment. So they probally made a deal about it.

I highly doubt Sony would have paid for more pixels. For one thing PES is too small a game to really be worth it. Then add in the fact that PES is strongest in Japan, ya know where the PS versions are going to have pretty much no competition.

You are right that the game's userbase is shrinking. But the more fans it got are not from Japan. It's Europe and always will be.Football sells here no matter what.

Exactly, it'd make no sense. Honestly,  if 720 was such an issue, then don't get an X1. This isn't the first and won't be the last, and we've known pretty much since the specs releases almost two years ago that it'd struggle. If you're buying it expexting amazig things, then you didn't do enough research

Sounds good to me. The more people that buy FIFA instead of PES the faster PES dies out. The faster PES dies out the faster FIFA can get the few remaining licences it is missing

1. Unlikely

2. That's a horrible thing. The only person a monopoly is good for is EA.

Not quite true, it would also be good for FIFA fans. Having more licensed leagues is good for fans

PES dying out would be horrible even for FIFA fans. You might get more licenses, but there would be even less of a push to improve the game by EA execs, which means less time and money for the devs to work on it. People complain already how FIFA is just a rehash of the previous year's game with updated rosters, even though it's not quite true. Think how much worse it would be if they had no competition to drive them forward.

Currently playing: Gran Turismo 5
Just finished:
Infamous 2

Well most games on X1 are now 900p or above. So That says a lot about Konami's optimization.

I hope MS helps them with MGS5.

I doubt you can convince him like that, people like him and EA deserve each other.

Yup, 100% true. Madden exemplifies this PERFECTLY.

And EA wouldn't need to get them considering nobody would have a choice in the matter.
EA has a penchant for buying competitors just to shut them down. Why would any monopoly in their hands be good even for fans. Its not like they wouldn't leave content out to charge for it later.

Oh wait.
