Well they got over a month to work on that.

From what I understood MS asked to remove the official specs from the official site and now any communication about resolution will be done by MS.

Communicating with MS leads me to believe MS may attempt to help them boost it. We know MS has worked with multiple studios to help improve resolution and performance.

Maybe they can squeeze out 900p.

It is a possibility.

If they do that MGS will be beneficied too or any other game that uses the Fox Engine.
