I believe the point PlayerEssence.com was trying to make was that many publications compared Bayonetta 2 sales to W101, in not only just sales, but in frame rates too. However, these same publications refused to provide context. For example, I believe it was Kotaku or IGN compared 4 days of Bayonetta 1 charting to 2 days (I found out it was actually 1 1/2, because Bayonetta 2 was only available for half of the day on the 20th in Japan).

It's very sneaky reporting on the side of IGN and Kotaku.
