I think I have one if I win CGI quality have to put in his sig Jega was right and the Xbox One is awesome.

If I lose I have to say I was wrong and CGi quality is awesome and the Ps4 is better than Xbox One.

The bet is the Xbox One will be no less than 2.5 million behind the PS4 worldwide by holiday 2016.

I am picking on CGI-quality because he seems to be the poster child for playstation here on VGchartz.  

And I have known him for a long time here on VGchartz.

Yea but like I said that wont last. There is no way the playstation can keep up a 2:1 lead over the Xbox One for the rest of this generation. 

It wont even be close to 2:1 my reason, 80+ million Xbox 360 owners migrating to the Xbox One says Hi. 

Taking a step back this reminds me a lot of discussing elections with people emotionally invested in the outcome. They are so sure their candidate will win because they love them and everyone they know loves them, heck maybe their whole town or state love them.

Then you sit down and show how electoral maps works with demographics and projections and how their candidate has one path to victory, and that being everything going their way. Meanwhile, their opponent can almost cruise and has 5-7 paths to victory and can even suffer a setback and be okay.

What inevitably happens if they swear the one path will happen and millions of others will just change because they desperately think being impassioned gives their vote more weight than someone who casually picks on a whim.

My point?

Right now Microsoft is on the defensive and has almost no shot at leading globally. They have one swing region (North America) that they need to win huge and one country (UK) within a losing region they need to win huge to keep the region somewhat close. They have another long shot in China to try and keep Asia close, and really not many options pretty much anywhere else.

I have no doubt Microsoft will fight like crazy to keep NA, but add up all the other regions and hard to see many third parties pass up the PS4 and its installed base. I just don't see Microsoft's first party being persuasive enough compared to Sony's to convert many after the first 10 months have seen such a significant early gap already develop,

You didn't expect this to happen the week before Destiny?  I am sure a lot of people who were thinking they wanted a PS4 were ok with waiting a week for the bundle.  Just like the May numbers for XB1 looked like crap because they were waiting for the sku without Kinect.

But, let's not let logic cloud our perception!

to be honest, the numbers or the console market gaming would shrink a bit, especially due to Japan being more into handheld/mobile gaming rather than console ones. which hindered more sales for PS4 and Wii U.
that 120million estimate for PS4 and 80 million for XBOX one. 75 million to PS4 and 50 million to XBOX 1.

The biggest gap sony can hope for with the ps4 this generation is 10 million, but I predict the current gap will close to half the

current gap of 5 million to around 2.5 million by holiday 2016.

To original posts,the ps3 has overtaken the xbox360 in global sales. Check the numbers. Ps4 will continue to outsell the Xbox one and the exclusive games will always be better overall. Halo will do good though.
