Uhm no, a 270X has less than 50% more raw computing power than PS4's gpu.  In fact the card actually has only 2gb of video memory, less than a PS4.

We're still not at 4K Gaming as a viable option for PC. 1440P? Most definitely, 2K? yeah sure, 4K? no way. Good luck finding a gaming rig that costs less than $1000 to play games in 4K at a high graphics setting with a playable framerate (30+) a R9 295X2 which is designed for 4K gaming alone would burst that budget. Let a lone a good CPU (4770k or higher) a Case large enough to host everything comfortably with decent cable management. $100+ motherboard at least. Etc.

 Ohhhh I get the FPS and settings wrong.

And I'm talking about the 4GB card... not the 2GB one.

I really do not understand how the desgners could bring out a gaming console without a GPU. The AMD console design team originated from the former Gamecube designers which were bought by ATI. Maybe the success of the Gamecube based Wii made them go the ultra low cost without real gaming power route for both systems but I think this is just stupid when for $50 more you could have a system on par with modern PC technology. They used the best APU available at that time but an APU does not stand any chance against a real gaming GPU in terms of performance.

Despite being gaming consoles, without a dedicated GPU both the X1 and PS4 lack real gaming power which is a shame and the reason why PC games like Watchdogs need to be artificially dumbed down in graphics quality.

Lol I already paid for my system so I could care less about it being "outdated". I can't see developers wanting to jump to 4K gaming yet anyway..
