And yeah, XB1 sales doubling seems very surprising indeed. Will wait for formal numbers to come through, but if true then that's excellent news for both the PS4 and X1

Something seems fishy with Sony's statement to me. It was expected that the sales were to drop over the last two weeks of August

Sony already said PS4 was number 1 this month.
Nearly double seems the shipment for US...
MS is using shipment data in PR.
They shipped nearly double in August than July.

aside from what the folk above me already posted, Sony also said PS4+PS3 > other families.. at least that's what i assume that sentence up there means
