Sadly, it's quite likely. It'll be close though. I expect it'll be at about 0.70 mil by the start of the holidays, and the holidays will boost it to 1 mil, and then lifetime it might climb over Prime 2. It deserves to sell better than Returns, but it won't.

It's harder to tell this generation due to digital sales. It's probably actually sitting on 0.80 at the moment. We won't know until it crosses a million and Nintendo adds it to it's million digital sold/retail shipped list.

Probably, which is unfortunate. They should have released it when the install base was a bit bigger to allow for bigger sales.

I'm not too sure... I do think Tropical Freeze has a chance of outselling Metroid Prime 2!

I think it can outsell MP2 and maybe MP3, but not MP1.

It can. The question is will Nintendo even bother stocking this after a year or two? It'll most likely hit roughly 900k by the end of this year, and will keep selling slowly, but Nintendo better give this a chance to outsell MP2.
