Will it be their lowest seller?

Yes 67 66.34%

No 34 33.66%

Total:101

How should that even be possible?
We don't know how high the digital sales are, but it's probably around 700k+ right now.
That is before even having a first holiday.
Do u really think it will only sell 1 million?
It sold around 200k at launch and now we're already at 700k.
It's showing good legs so far. Not Mario legs, but still pretty good.

I think it could outsell atleast Echoes.

Yeah it's going to be the lowest selling game they ever made. Pavolink was right... they should have made another Metroid Prime... Rawwwr.

Of their four prior games, the lowest lifetime seller is Metroid Prime 2 at 1.33 million.

Can Tropical Freeze top that, do you think?

It will outsell Prime 2 at least, and lifetime may start reaching Corruption. The game is almost always recommended along with the purchase of the WiiU and W101,  so I can see it doing a slow and steady climb to the end of time so long as stock is maintained. If we factor in digital its probably not that far from 1million at this point.

TF could get there, given that the bulk of the Wii U's sales life is still ahead of it, while Prime 2 came right when the GameCube was running out of gas.

MP2 deserves a lot more sales. It was almost as awesome as the first one.

The ramped up difficulty spread a bad word for the game. Also the NGC was on its death bed at that point.

I think people have fear of the dark world. It's like a nightmare.

Limited ammo was my bigger gripe with the game. Felt distinctly un-Metroid, especially early on when you only had starter ammo for the Light and Dark beams.

Yep and it pleases me. Even if they didn't make another metroid I think it was important for them to do something to diversify Nintendo's portfolio not just add another platformer straight after 3D world.
