Of course! Hopefully they will do a great job with Zelda U!

Eh people will hate it anyway... Like with nearly every other Zelda game.

Nah.. I bet Zelda U will be the Zelda which will be loved by most gamers! I'm positive about that!

Wasn't every Zelda hated for some reason?
Just the Artstyle will be enough to dislike the game for some people...

Ocarina of Time is the 3D Zelda game that gets the least amount of hate from what I've seen! Majora's Mask gets hate for the time-travel aspect, Wind Waker for the sailing and art-style, Twilight Princess for the wolf gimmick and Skyward Sword for the motion controls!

I once heard that it like 500 or something, but I doubt that's credible.

With 500 people Nintendo would probably have the game finished by ~2020.

I believe it.

Majora's Mask has to be the most impressive accomplishment in the series given how small the team size and dev time was. Skyward Sword really should have been a masterpiece to end all masterpieces with that much man power and time invested. It actually makes me a bit worried about Nintendo's current Zelda team that it wasn't better.

People always hate things they don't understand. People will try and make an argument that if Skyward Sword didn't have motion controls it woul be a better game, despite the game using Wii Motion plus only and being the best sword experience on a motion based Zelda game.

Then we have the "It needs real man grfx it sux cause it no look lik real life" people

Actually, i saw a lot of people already hating Zelda U, because of it's art style. It's not dark and gritty and bloody like 90% of video games today. I think the only Zelda game not hated on it's release is A Link Between Worlds. Oddly, I liked Skyward Sword more.

I'm trying to imagine a chart similar to this one, only with Final Fantasy development times... oh God.

Yeah, and I can already see FF XV having a ten-year dev period...

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Do we know the budget for any game, or have the means to calculate them?

Thanks for posting.

As manpower is the most driving source of costs (not only payment for everyone, but workspace and tools), you get a good impression if you multiply teamsize with dev-time. Let's see: Zelda 1: 6*12=72 Zelda SS: 185*36=6660 (pre-production was probably with a smaller team) That means Skyward Sword should have been probably around 100 times as expensive as the first Zelda.

3DS-FC: 4511-1768-7903 (Mii-Name: Mnementh), Nintendo-Network-ID: Mnementh, Switch: SW-7706-3819-9381 (Mnementh)

my greatest games: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024

10 years greatest game event!
