Compare with the white around the logo. Looks like a subtle beige to me. Retina display here, uncalibrated.

All I know is that I hope they change the name in the NA and European release of the device... its lazy when Marvel comics does it and it is even more so here.

I'm thinking of getting the new 3ds when it hits Europe next year. I've got the old XL, but have heard the 'small new 3ds' and new xl are equally desirable (especially the Super Famicom buttons on regular). I'd like the regular, but I'm concerned about the drop in screen size from my old XL. Can anyone enlighten me or help me make up my mind?!

It Japan shouldn't be a problem since new it's an English word.

 

Here in the west though it definitely should receive another name. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
