What are the things PS4 does better other than hardware power?
That is literally all there is between the two from an unbiased POV.

Maybe. But power alone justifys the purchase for the same price. Can either of you tell me something the x1 does better that justifys the price parity with the ps4?
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Don't forget that ps4 also does games better, interface better, customer service better, multiplayer better, variety better, 3rd party better, 1st party better, premium online service better, so yeah add in controller and hardware and it's easy to see ps4 does everything better. Which explains the 2:1 margin.

Isn't that all you need? When people see third party multiplats and see the "Best Edition" with the PS4 version, which version are they going to get?

And that is all entirely opinion only. None of what you stated is factual like the hardware advantage.
@eva - to someone entirely on the fence then yesy, the extra juice in PS4 is worth the purchase over an XB1. But choices like that are not made in a vaccume, and where your friends are, what exclusives you like and the OS/system are far greater, important to take into consideration (given the power gap isn't showing to be huge anymore).
My point was, PS4 does not do lots of things better, it does one thing better, hardware power. And not by a huge margin.
Toastboy, you are treading on dangerous paths. You need to use your words carefully.

The version their friends are playing, with the exclusives they like? How do you think PS3 multiplats sold well?
And third party games on PS4 do not come with "best edition" on the box. The average gamer is completely uninformed about all of this. The other day I heard a group of kids talking about how the XB1 was more powerful. I mean god knows where they heard it, and they're obviously wrong. But your average gamer that doesn't visit the net is far less enlightened than you think.

Or else?

And who's going to be the first 'friend' to get what system? I saw it myself at the start of this generation, some die hard Xbox fans said they would have gotten Xbox for halo if, and I quote, "Xbox didn't turn stupid". That is a direct quote from one of them.
Question: So the only thing Xbox has over PS4 is Halo then?

I'm not suggesting anything, but I saw his last ban message. This is just my warning to him.
