"The gap should decrease 500k at least"
Just no. I'm willing to bet with anyone that XB1 won't even sell 500k in September globally

And who's going to be the first 'friend' to get what system? I saw it myself at the start of this generation, some die hard Xbox fans said they would have gotten Xbox for halo if, and I quote, "Xbox didn't turn stupid". That is a direct quote from one of them. Question: So the only thing Xbox has over PS4 is Halo then? |
What he's saying is, apart from hardware power, it's all subjective. I agree with him only I'd add in network stability as well. I have own XBL for years and I have owned a PS3 and a PS4. PSN is much less stable. We all know this. It has far more problems and has for years.

It doesn't really matter who's opinion is who's when the advertising says the PS4 version is definitive. When your every day gamer sees this, you can guess which version they get.

But, isn't that what I originally said? lol. This war was won on PR. When Jack Trenton made that E3 statement of no DRM, no online checks, price point etc, that was it, bam, Sony won. Yes, the console is more powerful but it didn't win because of that.

That stopped being true after 2011 after Sony upgraded their servers and security. This last holiday season XBL on XB1 went down due to traffic but for me PSN stayed up on Ps4. This year XBL has gone down quite a few times due to DDOS attacks but for their credit it only lasted a few hours. PSN went down once due to DDOS and for me was down for an hour. Lets not forget that since the launch of 360 there was a bug that lasted months into Xb1 that allowed any person to log into any account by simply pressing space bar in order to bypass log in and it was only acknowledged and fixed once a 5 year old discovered it and his father reported it to the press. That is far more unstable and unsafe.

Did you get a PS4 at launch? I did. The thing pretty much didn't WORK for a few days. PSN goes down for maintenance as well, unlike XBL. I had the PS4 from launch until spring, and it was nothing like what you're saying.

I would have said 450k, but thas good to :p
People are giving destiny to much hype, not even ps4 I see a big boost from destiny. Probably the same as wachdogs. It will look huge on ps4 cuz its already close to a million every month. But october is where is really at. All 3 consoles are going to skyrocket in october. September will be nothing in comparison.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
For X1 to close 500k in September it would have to sell at least 500k and we know X1 have been seeling around 200-250k month (a little bellow WiiU). The other months are even funnier.
Worst is seeing Seece do all the battle for toast (that just post the op and is collecting points... He basically spam this same thread every other week. Not sure why he wasn't banned for it).
And I don't remember seeing Seece defending that outshipping is outselling when every ms fan was defending that ps3 was overstuffing the channels.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."
So the Wii U currently has 1.8 million units higher than XB1 in sales and you expect the XB1 to sell 1 million units more than the Wii U by the end of the year? So from now until the end of the year, you expect the Wii U to sell absolutely no units?
I love your in-depth analysis...

I got them both at launch. I'm east coast USA and was up and online as soon as I got home and didn't have any troubles with it. Xb1 on otherhand was down first day and was riddled with lag and unexpect drops the first week. XBL goes down just as much as PSN for maintanence. Even more so when they were fixing the UI. I honestly don't believe you had it at all I'm sorry but I had no problem with it what so ever during that time and neither have any of my friends on it.
