I'm kind of surprised Ryu isn't even on the list (says the guy with the Ryu avatar hah, ok, so maybe I'm a bit biased). The rest makes sense though.  :)

Sorry but that doesn't surprise me at all. I don't even know what game he is from and wouldn't even know his name unless you said it in your post

Street Fighter :P  And I mainly say that from an anime perspective as there are shitton of Street Fighter animated movies.

Everything about this list seems right, though I'm pretty sure Pikachu is slightly more well-known than Link.

Really?  Maybe if you're a kid of the 80s Pac Man is huge. Most people born post 1990 have a passing knowledge of the character, but his games do not excite anymore. Mario is still an icon and the face of video games selling millions of copies of his latest titles.
