you should spend less time looking for panty vending machines and more time uploading an avatar :P

And you should spend less time telling people to upload and avatar and spend more time asleep, it's 4am for crying out loud, come to bed :P

Now this sounds familiar...

Also let's not use sweeping generalizations like "SJW" again please.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

You live/lived in japan correct? Mind answering my questions? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6644181 I apologize in advance for any offence taken. Not trying to pass any kind of judgment on the people or culture. Simply trying to separate fact from rumor.

I think most people have been ignoring the panty vending machine question because it sounds like something someone made up just to troll people.  I've never heard anything like that at all.

I dated a Japanese girl while she was in college.  She looked like she was 15 compared to girls of European origin.  She was around 5'1'' and 100 pounds.  She was a woman.  She had every right to that title, as much as any other woman.  The suggestion that men shouldn't be attracted to someone who fits those physical patterns is, to me, insulting to women.

Congratulations on writing the most racist and sexist paragraph my virgin eyes have ever beheld, throwing in cisnormative assumptions and even a little body-shaming for good measure. You pig.

That guy's shirt....Anyways, I don't see the problem, we all know japan has a fixation for school girls, even more so when they are teens. I mean, there wasn't anything sexual or malicious in the video, it's not like she was being fisted, elbow deep or something weird like that.

And if this is from the tekken team, can I upper cut that hoe?

EDIT: Oh for fuck's sake, is anything against woman some sort of sexual attack or something? Everything that isn't extremely positive about women is an attack from a feminist's eyes and leave Anita out of this -_-

The age of consent in Japan is 13. In their culture, teenage girls are coveted and desired. We need to deal with the fact that different countries feel differently about different things.

Breaking news: Japan is weird.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I don't see any problem at all with this game, especially in japan :)

It's nothing if you look at some others eroge .

Ok I'm not going to condemn this, because I understand it's their culture. Even if it comes off as more or less pedophilia to some western perspectives. Again tho not judging or condemning it. I do have some serious questions tho that I hope someone more familiar with the culture can explain. Why is it always underage school girls? What is wrong with adult woman? I don't mean older woman or cougars, I mean experienced adult woman from 20-30. I do not understand the fascination with girls that look 13-15 years old. Also I don't know if this is true hopefully someone can verify, is it true they have vending machines there that sell underwear because woman are second hand citizens/treated like objects that are frequently raped so the vending machines are there so they can get new underwear after the fact?

**NOTE** I do not know, and personally do not believe that last question is true. So I am only asking for verification. I've heard conflicting stories and there is a lot of weird porn out there so I am asking for input from anyone that has actual experience with the country/lives there.

High school is seen as the prime of life in Japan. The reason it's referenced so much in anime because it's looked back on as the best it evers gets for a Japanese person. High school in Japan is grades 10-12 in the US, putting everyone 15-19 years old. Your perception of the person is 13-15, but I see a character designed to be a older high school student (if I had to guess, it'd be 17. No younger than 16). It's also easier to make and simulate because of the history the creators and designers know and have seen before in other media.

Late response, but I didn't see an answer I liked.

Edit: Skimmed over Tachikoma's post. Nvm.

Because this isn't Padib's forums, pretty simple answer, and if the Quantum Mechanics line confuses you, I'd suggest taking a gander at your recent posting history.

@People siding in this thread. I think it just goes to show how, even if people are informed, they prefer remain ignorant on world issues.

Could you elaborate on that? What do you mean by that, exactly?

Because from what I've read (the entire thread) it's quite obvious that you jumped to many hasty conclusions based on limited or an absence of knowledge about Japan and the way people see things there. You tried to make a big fuss out of nothing based on articles that also demonstrate a lack of knowledge about the Japanese culture. Tachi schooled you and has been quite informative in her comments about the Japanese culture. I suggest you just drop it already, before you make your case any worse.
