I hate one game directs, but for Bayo i'll let it slide. This game needs the exposure and a single direct isn't enough. It needs aggressive advertising.

I honestly don't care about the advertising: I just want it to be successful and advertising is a double-edged sword. Advertising can POTENTIALLY increase sales BUT it can also increase the amount of sales a game needs to be considered successful. Advertising isn't free... I'd rather that money go into the game itself. Putting the game on streaming services and such is many times cheaper.

More advertising often leads to a game's success as opposed to little or none.

Not always though. Conker's Bad Fur Day was advertised and sales underperformed.

True Crime: Street of New York was advertised and that IP is now dead.

Advent Rising, dead and buried.

Shame since the first two I absolutely loved. Never played AR though so I can't say...

I hate how anything with nudity or violence is immediately considered mature. Chess is a mature game as are racing sims and they have neither violence nor nudity. I wouldn't expect a young child to be immediately able to appreciate chess or a racing sim. Ride to Hell Retribution has violence and sex and let me tell you, its approach to the latter is terribly immature.

Still, can't wait for Bayo2!

But how often were those games advertised and for how long? A lot of work goes into marketing you know.

It's a complicated issue and I'm sure the topic could fill a textbook.

Especially when the game is aimed clearly at literal virgin wankers.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Called it. :P

So, going by Australia time, looks like I'll have something cool to wake up to Friday morning. Hope it doesn't spoil too much in terms of setpieces... XD

I always thought it was aimed at action fans. We're talking about Bayo 2 right? Or Ride to Hell?

Sweet! Get to hear more info on my most hyped game this year :)

Hopefully there will be a demo released for this game. Given PG's record for releasing demos, I think it's a safe bet that there will be one for Bayonetta 2 as well :)

I hope so too...

Would probably boost the sales a little bit!

More games should get a demo imo.
