I mainly agree with you except for the second one. I think the DS brand is what has given the 3DS a boost.

I hate that Sony actually released a revision that's worse than the initial piece of hardware, instead of a real upgrade. When I get a Vita (I still want to play the Uncharted for it), I'm going to have to search high and low for a launch Vita !

And what's the relevance to the topic here? Also no one is talking about the hardware upgrades or downgrades, we're talking about forcing people to buy the new hardware if they want the newer games.

That would be awesome! I would love to see games like Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 and such make it to the console.
