To replay the same game!? I guarantee you 99% of 3DS owners haven't played Xenoblade. Heck, more than 99% of Wii owners haven't played Xenoblade. |
But were those guys even interested in playing Xenoblade?

I think Nintendo really want to the 3DS to hit 100m. I shall expect exclusive software to be reserved to Gamecube/wii ports.
No new games. Nintendo wouldn't be that crazy.
I was going to get this now I CAN@T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hate this news. Hate hate haye ahte
And don't compare the 3DS/New 3DS to the Gameboy/Gameboy Color.
The GBC was released 8 years after the GB, that's a whole generation.
The New 3DS is released only 3 YEARS after the 3DS. That's not cool, at all.
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

They probanly didn't even know it existed, dude. I sure as hell didn't. Only Nintendo diehards did.
This is very anti consumer if true. Releasing a game for the 3DS that works with the newest model only is a big backstab to fans of the game and the console alike!

Probably! It came at a point where the wii was dead. most didn't expect much from it either but then it critical reception was amazing. Im someone who wanted to play but its pretty hard to find for a reasonable price and was done with my by that point. I think a 3DS remake is actually a good idea, more time efficient then a HD remaster and better suited to reintroduce the franchise in Japan, setting up X as a system seller for the Wii U.

I totally agree besides people like myself, who will buy the whole new system for just one game (I just want an XL, thank god I waited).
While I do feel sorry for a lot of people who are not wild spenders on me, I personally love the added CPU.

Damn, what a shitty thing to do! Spliting their userbase up if they want to play Xenoblade on it. That's like Sony making a new PS4 model with UC4 exclusive to it or MS making a new X1 model in order to play Halo.
That's dirty! But leave it to Nintendo to have brand image problems. People didn't even know the Wii U was a new system in the first 12 months of it's life.

I don't know about where you are, but here in France, Xenobalde was praised day and night by the press when it was released. Every gamer know about it.
