I still think there is some demand in Xenoblade. Especially if Nintendo is willing to make a sequel. Plus they have stated that they plan on doing this for some other games as well. Like more ports.

In the end... I'll buy it, but it's just a little annoying.

Xenoblade is obviously not possible on the old 3DS hardware at least not without big trade-offs.

If I had purchased a 3DS not too long ago, I'd be pissed... Oh wait, that's exactly what happened, so I'm pissed. I've already decided that I'm never buying another console until it's been out at least one year, and never buying a handheld until after it's first revision, and this just fortifies that.
