NFC built in.

FREAKING MENU AND CASE CUSTOMIZATION!!!!

I will stick with my Zelda 3DS XL................................

Yeah being able to play OoT in 3D and use gyro is pretty awesome

This is a great update imo. It means the Monster Hunter crowd wont have to deal with that thumbstick add-on. same goes for the NFC implementation which goes well with Nintendo's Amiibo plans.

But mostly i like the new design better, even if it's not a drastic redesign.

It also solves the issue i've had with the 3D screen. This is the BIG one for me.

Yeah basically this is what the 3DS was meant to be.

3D that works and doesnt fuck up when you move slightly.

A 2nd Circle Pad for 3D camera controls, something you would think is important for 3D gaming.

The NFC added in makes Amiibo more attractive and they are banking on them to be big.

And the design seems better. More comfortable for the smaller one. The XL seems the same

Remember that cross platform game talk? Look at what the two extra buttons are called, a second analog thingy like Wii U and a faster cpu that MIGHT aid in the obvious rendering ability of the two systems...hmmm, just a thought.

I know this isn't related to the thread but boy does Iwata seems to have lost a lot of weight :(. Hopefully, he really is in full recovery like he said.

OP: I'm not sure what to think of this... Can we actually confirm that Xenoblade is exclusive to this particular model? If so, then I hope that this model never makes it to the west because I don't really want to spend another 200$ on a 3ds system...

Yes. Time in hospital does that. I've seen it happen with many people over the years:D

I dont think any game will be exclusive to this new model. That would be crazy. I just hope it's introduced to the US/EU market quickly or it will prolly hurt sales of existing models.
