Why not just do the Bayonetta thing and release it with Xenoblade Chronicles X?

NOTHING from the Wii, the Wii U is already compatible with all its games and accessories, they should go with something from the gamecube era, or maybe N64 if it is not expensive to move it to HD. The truth is, there is very little that I will rebuy or replay again, if it is just a HD port.
No. That would detract far too much attention and sales from the new Xenoblade Chronicles X. Can't see it happening at all, it's not good business sense.
Metroid Prime Trilogy HD would make a ton of sense on the other hand. Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 HD maybe even moreso, especially since we'll definitely be getting another 3D Mario on Wii U, but not until 2016 at the earliest. If I were Nintendo I'd do both.

Good catch, totally forgot about that
I honestly hope its not Xenoblade HD. Great game, but if they did a remaster, I prefer it be 10 years or older

It won't be Xenoblade Chronicles because it's going to take too much time to do. They're more likely to choose a game that has a shorter playthrough time because it's going to be a lot easier for the QA team to test.
My money would be on any of the following: Eternal Darkness HD, Waverace HD, F-Zero GX HD or Paper Mario Thousand Year Door HD.
Well that sounds like a nice idea, a map on the Gamepad would be highly appreciated, specially with how big the world is, though a Xenoblade remaster would only feel okay, if it was included with X, it being alone would feel weird, specially on the same year as X.
Though it will probably be a Mario game or the Prime Trilogy, Eternal Darkness or the Luigi's Mansion duology could be aswell, and would be the only worthwhile investments, since F-Zero and Waverace are not that good in the sales front, Zelda U is releasing that year, Pokemon will probably have a game release that year, Animal Crossing doesn't seem like a remastering type of series, and Xenoblade would had to be include with X to not feel out of place.
COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).
-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst
Xenoblade HD. Hmm... Why not?
Tho i think most Nintendo fans are hoping for that Majora's Mask 3D.

I dont care what is the remaster as long as it can be played with a normal controller if it is a Wii game.
But since zelda was on gamecube, and becasue wiii games can be played on WiiU, I believe it will be Mario Sunshine.
Nintendo should have two teams for remasters, so we could get two games per year.
