It would be a great move to put the original game with the new Xenoblade, but not to remaster it. Just put the game to be played with the Wii mode.

The remaster needs to be a Game Cube game. Baiten Kaitos using the GamePad for the cards could be a good idea.

I originally thought they could bundle the game with the new one but Nintendo must see that the original Xenoblade still has some marketing ability. It's not like Bayonetta 1 which has maxed out in sales on other consoles and hence wouldnt really sell as a stand alone remaster on Wii U.

Baten Kaitos HD collection? Too niche, but I still want a third entry in the series some day.

I may sound selfish with this post, I really hope it's not Xenoblade! I mean, I love the game and all but I want 2015 remaster to be something else! :S

Wii games should still be released digitally on eshop/VC though with miiverse support!!

I'm surprised at the lack of people speculating that it could be the original Luigi's Mansion.

For a remaster, I'd imagine it wouldn't be a Wii game, as those are still playable on the Wii U, and not an N64 games, as that would require much more work that what I feel 'remaster' implies. A gamecube game seems the most likely candidate. Mario Sunshine would be my second choice, but there are already plenty of Mario themed games, and Dark Moon on the 3ds has done well enough that Nintendo might try to get some of that success to bleed over to the Wii U.

Still doesn't stop me from wishing it would be Eternal Darkness, though.

Doesn't Xenoblade Chronicles X comes with the original on disc? I thought I heard that at E3 this year. If that's the case, then I doubt they'll do an HD remaster.
Personally, I'm hoping Nintendo will either do a Metroid Prime or Zelda: Twilight Princess remaster.

That would require so much tinkering that they may as well just make a new game.

After the success of Awakening, and to get hype in gear, I could see a Fire Emblem: POR and RD collection. Those would require very little work. OK, I'll be honest: this is what I want personally, lol.

Dont think xenoblade sales were good enough to justify the costs of releasing and HD version. ANyway, I would like to have and HD version of Metroid trilogy, or Mario galaxy 1/2, but withough the gimmics. Just regular controls.
