I think both Wii U and PS4 will sell less than 7 millions in Japan.
Basically, only Nintendo fans and people who really need to play the new Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and new gen fighting games (the new Tekken, Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Kof) will get one.

The PS3 has sold significantly less than PS1, PS2, and PSP in Japan. I'd say PS3 did well in Japan, not "amazingly well."

Guys gotta also remember there was that huge radio active flood that hurt a lot of japanese game development and I'm sure they have had other issues that have slowed growth as well. I'm sure Sony will show some games for the Japanese market, they deserve it.

I hear wait till FF and KH, but the question is, when do you guys really think KH is coming out? I think FF is not too far out, but I could see KH not coming out for the next 2-3 years based off of SE terrible development times. We haven't really seen the game in over a year.

It's in danger of losing Japan, but it's not lost yet. We'll see how the franchises that are of interest to Japanese gamers affect things. Sony is sure slow off the mark with Japan.
