i know that no one else would found bayonetta 2 and it´s totally legit that it is a wii u exclusive, i just hope they will go back now to release more games on xbox/ps after 2 nitendo exclusive games

You should be talking about M$ then, as they have Platinum on an exclusive next not Nintendo.

SSB appeals to a very different market segment. There's cross over of course, but I think those people who want both will buy both. So I don;t see SSB having any effect on B2 sales.

B2 will sell OK for what it is, and the fact that it is in a genre that has not had a great history of good sales on Nintendo platforms. But I don't think it will hit 1 million lifetime. Sales will be very front loaded, and it will have poor legs, even though Bayonetta has hot legs.

I highly doubt it.

But crazier things have happened I suppose so It very well could.

I meant where do you see competition right now.

from you post I understand that bayonetta cant do good because it isnt a launch title like zombie u and that the instal base does not matter in this case because of competition. maybe I got it wrong and your post is too complex for my brain.

If Nintendo plays its cards right and gets great reviews from Famitsu (and free advertising), we might see it break 500k this year.

Platinum Games simply wasn't enough to drive The Wonderful 101 off its rough sales patch, though.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Not if the marketing stays like this.

Launch titles receive a lot of media attention for the simple reason that they are one of the few titles available. That's the lack of competition I'm talking about. There just isn't a lot of option so it's expected of launch titles to sell higher. I wasn't really talking about the competition in a specific genre. Because yeah otherwise Bayonetta 2 has little to no competition on the Wii U. But it doesn't matter so much because there also isn't a strong audience for that kind of game on the Wii U.
