The PSV however, is dying a slow death.

So from now on, the way we are going to have to look at PS4 numbers is what ever number shows on the front page, we have to add 600k because this site won't adjust it. So now we have (9.4M+600k) as our vgchartz equation. By around Christmas we'll have something like (14.5M+600k) or whatever the number is at that time. Fun times here I tell ya...

You also have to add 50k to this week numbers

???? Why wont they adjust the PS4 numbers?? We have confirmation that those numbers were sold to consumers, so why?? What r they waiting for. Same goes for The Last of Us (ps3). It was confirmed that over 7 million units were sold. VGchrtz still has it below 5million. >_> Time to man up and admit u guys made a mistake. Oh and fix the algorithm.

They pointed out that they don't want to just throw in numbers ANYWHERE, all hiddly piddly, they need to figure out where they went so horribly wrong, so they can do better going forward. Which is fair enough, not much point to just tacking on half a million or so anywhere on the chart, if they don't find out where all the extra sales were coming from. xP They want to make sure that, wherever they add in those extra units, (be it one of the marked regions, or the 'in between' spots not outright shown on the charts,) it's the right spots.

It's a world I quite like living in. Not because of xbox failure, but because Nintendo is the only gaming only company and it's better for gaming if they are not in last place.

TLOUR a complete one week wonder in terms of hardware sales, expected of course but amusing to see it go almost exactly back to where is was the week prior to TLOUR.

70% drop for TLOUR in USA. Seems to be in line with 2nd week drops.

Because they don't know where to put them at. Although, when MS announced 84M shipped X360's in June they adjusted it in 2 days and dumped 1 million extra units all in US even though that didn't add up to NPD numbers.  Go figure..

VGC does have to distribute that 600k through the countries across the weeks between the last adjustment to correct for Sony's sales announcement (5 million mark was it?) and now. So it's not necessarily a quick process except for Germany where we have pretty much confirmed PS4 LTD. A proportion of TLOU PS3 7 million will be digital, so they have to figure out what the hard copy proportion needs to be and then attribute thebextra hard copy sales to all the countries. Again, not a simple bump up the number proposition. Anyway software is only ever a ball park not to be taken literally.

NPD has shown its been on track, and we have reliable numbers. Tomodachi Life also showing great legs so its probably helping maintaining that # weekly (also japan is currently doing 40k+ alone)

??? 4-5 weeks isnt doubtful, Destiny comes in 4 weeks for updates. So X1 might stay under for at least 3 weeks, the 4th week X1 could be over and definitely the 5th (as destiny releases that week)
