You can't kill something that never lived! Love it like that guy on Walking Dead loved his zombie daughter.

It's a world I quite like living in. Not because of xbox failure, but because Nintendo is the only gaming only company and it's better for gaming if they are not in last place. TLOUR a complete one week wonder in terms of hardware sales, expected of course but amusing to see it go almost exactly back to where is was the week prior to TLOUR. Still no 10 million adjustment though. 70% drop for TLOUR in USA. Seems to be in line with 2nd week drops. |
Eh. I don't know how much the Wii U deserves it. I don't know how any of these consoles deserve their sales currently.
| Blood_Tears said: So from now on, the way we are going to have to look at PS4 numbers is what ever number shows on the front page, we have to add 600k because this site won't adjust it. So now we have (9.4M+600k) as our vgchartz equation. By around Christmas we'll have something like (14.5M+600k) or whatever the number is at that time. Fun times here I tell ya... |
It'll be even more. When Sony announces 15 million, I'll bet VGC will be undertracking by a million+ with them still wondering where those sales are coming from and insinuating that Sony may be lying. Funny how the same isn't done for stuff like the 360.

Yo-kai Watch 2 is doing crazy numbers, that's for sure. That's really helping the 3DS (all models) stay at a ~40k baseline, too.
I'm still surprised at how well Tomodachi Life is doing outside Japan. At this rate, it'll break 500k in less than two weeks.

So I guess they aren't correcting their numbers for the ps4.

They never really let it die in Japan, though. They put it on life support, and the third-party devs happily took over and gave it new life.

Yeah, I agree. Crazy numbers it's been selling, and I think that it'll reach at least reach a million outside Japan, or even match Japan numbers!
Now, for my comments (Nintendo exclusive :P):
Wii U: Mario Kart 8 is still selling faster than the Wii U itself?! Does this mean that MK8 will reach 1 million in this quarter alone? That's a crazy thought.
Also, Obon week in Japan will push Wii U sales past 60k overall. No, not only because of Hyrule Warriors/Zelda Musou, it's because it's Obon week.
By the way, Super Mario 3D World sold ~11k overall this week. Legs.
3DS: I want to think VGChartz is overtracking this, but Yokai Watch 2 is the tide lifting all boats with it.
Yoshi's New Island is still selling well in Japan (~39k copies, ~33k came from Japan, I believe.), and Pokemon X&Y sold just a bit more. Eh, virtual tie.
Stating the obvious: Tomodachi Life is a success with long, beautiful legs.
