CD was open to a partner after their last game and MSFT took advantage. I think the game will be Xbox and pc only.

The real question that should be asked here is why a game releasing hollidays 2015 is going to be cross gen ? Thats just dumb and will hold the game back quite a bit. If Crystal Dinamics wants to compete with Uncharted they shouldnt be making this kind of compromise.

The problem even ms fans on GAF mention is that the deal adds nothing to the Xbox lineup. It was getting the title either way. So it's just money to take the game away from others. Meh.

This is how you communicate with the gamers! I still prefer that they create their own IPs but they are releasing alot of them and this is just a bonus in my view :).

How is this a bonus to you? Honest question. I'm just curious since the deal doesn't add a game to the XB lineup. It merely removes it elsewhere.

I feel this is a dangerous and anti consumer practice. It's bad enough that Sony has a bunch of exclusive destiny stuff, timed dlc already sucks.

But the precedent is not something I think should be encouraged beyond saving shelved/unfinanced titles. Sony already has a 2:1 advantage and the gap is only going to get larger in raw numbers due to global rates. It would be cheap for Sony to decide to do the same with even larger franchises should this prove effective. GTA6 PS4 exclusive for example or COD, Fifa, etc. If they start this too it will suck hard. And I'll call them out on it, I fully believe that paying money just to keep things from other gamers adds nothing, it just poisons the industry and hurts gamers.

its simple its exclusive till the deal runs out then its up to cd to do what ever they want with it. if they chose to put it on other platforms then its up to them to put the money up for it.
