They're both pretty horrible scenarios. It's not like Nintendo has 10 other Mario Kart sized franchises just sitting around, after Smash, they've pretty much spent all of their really big guns.

IMO another cartoony styled Zelda with an androgenous looking Link is not going to be a big draw for non-Nintendo hardcore.

That's not too bad at all. Considering it's been two months after release, being in top 5 as the only single platform game on that list. I'm curious to see how many they can sell during holiday season.

The MK8 sales have been skewed quite a bit by the free game promotions before August started, at least. I'm impressed with how well it held up, though. It's as if everyone who's buying a Wii U defaults to Mario Kart.
