This reminds me of StarFox Adventures, a game that was suppose to star Krystal the Fox with the game being named as Dinosaur Planet. Instead, they scrapped the idea of Krystal being the main character and slapped StarFox into it.

Sonic Boom definitely feels like a Ratchet & Clank game, but with Sonic. Such a shame, we need more new IPs.

It did, but Lost World not turning out as fun as it looked shows you can never truly judge a game's quality before release. ;)

I guess you are kinda right about that, but I still have the feeling that Sonic Boom won't be a good game.. :-/
