Is it just me, or are the graphics getting progressively worse each time they show it?

I also gave Sonic Unleashed a chance and things didn't end very nicely for me... :-/

Probably...

This is the first Sonic game i had hope for, but after seeing gameplay i was really disappointed.

Maybe it turns out to be good, who knows....

My expectations are low though.

Looks like one of the Sony platform franchises with Sonic skinned in. I'm actually optimistic.

What was wrong with Sonic and the Black Knight? It was very off-beat in tone, but played at least as well as Secret Rings, plus playable Knuckles, Shadow, and Blaze.

yeah, don't understand all the disliking for the Black Knight, i enjoyed it more than Unleashed, and 1m isn't too bad, did not even finish Secret Rings, it was annoying  :P

Lost World looks awesome, but it's true that apart from the 4 playable characters, it is a step backwards for the series, too child focused and with those stupid American style voice acting, mediocore graphics, low budget probably... :/

I wish Sonic could take the ''epicness'' direction/style instead, would sell much more

Doesn't stop it from looking awful.

I would disagree; it looks more like a mixed bag to me. The graphics and voices are pretty shoddy, but the gameplay has an interesting Ratchet-and-Clank/Banjo-Kazooie vibe.

Can't say I'm a fan. Like ProJared said when he played it, it seems like they had an idea for a game and then slapped Sonic on it. It just doesn't fit IMO, and I have zero intention of buying it.

I'm expecting a really low metascore for the Wii U version but decent sales because of the TV show, which I actually plan on watching because it looks well-made.
