Yep, Sonic still looks like a caveman with his large forehead.

Textures look like sh*t, but gameplay looks like it could be fun. If it's done right, which has proven to be a problem with Sonic game way too often.

All the hands on experiences I've heard about it is that the energy tether is uncontrollably bad at times, which is terrible because they made it a large portion of the game.

Just go back to 16 bit like Mega Man brought back the 8-bit craze, and get the ****ing jumping right and you'd have a top selling Sonic game, not this crap.

This game epitomizes the difference between Mario and Sonic. Mario games focus on refining its key elements to extremely high levels. Sonic games continue to pile on more crappy systems. If Sonic is ever going to be worth mentioning in the same sentence as Mario again, they'll need to trim the fat and focus on solid jumping and going fast.

That looks terrible and I was expecting jaw dropping awful, but sonic never fails to undercut any possible expectations I could ever have no matter how low.

My favorite part of the whole thing is that the related videos is all wii u trailers except for one david spade stand up special for some reason.

If Sonic Boom manages to outsell Tropical Freeze I'll do something extraordinarily unspeakable to the first living creature that comes in my path. The game looks like a complete disaster.

Honestly, I don't get the hatred.

Sure, it looks inconsistent and corny, but in a series that played host to Sonic '06, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic & the Black Knight, it's hardly a new low.

What was wrong with Sonic and the Black Knight? It was very off-beat in tone, but played at least as well as Secret Rings, plus playable Knuckles, Shadow, and Blaze.
