They've yet to treat any other Indie titles that way, that I know of, so I doubt there was any "moneyhat" here (especially when the game isn't going to pull in a large audince). Exactly, that's what I thought too but if it turns out Sony, for whatever reason, did pay for exclusivity then its a dick move and I'm not happy about it.

never heard of this game before. doesnt seem like sony money hatted this. seems they decided to move on from the WiiU to PS4 due to its higher install base.

yes, they should have used the money to fund new games, paying to hold stuff away from other platforms is just bad for consumers of other platforms and gives people on the platfrom who get it nothing

They should get their money back imo...

Paying for something that wont happen is just a scam.

No mention of Wii U there, it is sad that isn't not on there. A shame. But if they focus on getting the game out on PC then PS4, after they could look into Wii U version.

Not for the time being. Unless you consider one of the above platforms to be a 'console', because Things Are Changing. We'd love to be on (the next) Xbox and (the soon-to-be-announced) Playstation, of course, but not at the expense of all the other platforms. So we'll see. Nothing is impossible and everything is doable.
