Yes Europe as well but likely to a lesser percentage margin than the Rest of World

Hmm not sure, if Germany is any indication. Germany sales are more off percentage wise than global sales.

Nah, just adjust the number, and figure out where they were failing. Compensate in the next few weeks (AKA, that means putting the PS4 significantly ahead, I know that'll hurt VGC, but it's the truth). 

In my opinion, adjusting the number isn't enough. VGC will just screw it up horribly again in the future. Their methodology just plain sucks. It doesn't use any proper techniques of biostatistics. Their sampling and extrapolation methods are incorrect. If Sony announces 20 million PS4s sold to consumers when VGC has it at 18 million sold, it's the same story all over again. There's no point for the existence of VGC's numbers and the site should just do what I suggested above.

It would defeat the whole point of this site which is to provide a more real time picture of sales in the game industry instead of waiting of weeks or months for data from the companies. Its's not perfect as shown by this but, its better than nothing if you want  a picture of sales right after the lanuch of a product.

Everyone who went on a major gaming site yesterday or today knows PS4 is over 10M. VGC is probably tweaking their formula instead of just throwing 10M up there.And let's cut them some slack, no one (well okay not much) expected PS4 to be destroying the sales charts like this.
