Likely not by much. Usually they try to make it sound as much as possible, if it was closer to 10.1 million I'm sure they would have said so (at least they've done so in the past)

1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.

I think the undertracking comes from Europe, we know they undertracked it by 70k in Germany, so if it's the same in other countries...

Europe tracking is really bad.

well the last sales figures from sony was 7+million, but since then we have had several npd's and other sales trackers. and this cite just adjusted the numbers up 300k. so at best VGZ is 25% off, at worst ~40%

Whenever they please it seems. It's a damn joke if the numbers aren't fixed soon. Sony couldn not have been more clearer, they even took the time to specifically point out that it sold through to consumers, not just sold through, but sold through all the way to the consumer and they did that for a reason. VGC has taken many hits this year, hopefully they react fast this time.

It's not as easy as you think it is. It's not like adjusting up a single number and be done with it.

They need to check where they could've gone wrong and where they have to add additional units. Not just for one week but all weeks since the last reliable numbers. And not just 1 chart but across all regions. The numbers do have to add up you know?

Everyone who has followed trends jnew the ps4 number has to be way above what's on vgc, it does not even follow the weekly information posted vere (i.e. Ps4 sells more than 100k somwtimes more than 200k a week, yet bumps of 100k are few and far between....)
