Those are estimates and those can be wrong.

But I did say before that the tracking outside of the US and Japan is really the sketchiest.


I accepte tracking in US is not that bad,in japan they just take numbers s from réal trackers but outside the world, they are just doing Pachter tracking


500k units at 10 million is just 5% off

not the worst. but yes, that rest of the world and mainland europe tracking need some adjustment.

 

imho just usa, japan and uk seems to be okay

Sony confirmed 7 million ps4 sold in march.  with out 200k adjusted last week, VGC would have been off by 900k in 3 million. Its not 5% bro

I guess we won't be getting sold figures for X1 anytime soon, if ever. Even comparing the shipped number would be almost impossible to spin now

we never will. we will be lucky to get shipped numbers without 360 from now on.

Well we do know that some consoles are overtracked quite often in the US.

And vice versa. Makes you wonder where the sales are coming from though. They don't count the online sales right? So that would be Amazon, likely as the main seller, and others. So by that logic each of them should be under tracked, no?


They don't count digital for games because there's no way to get info on that, but I assume they count amazon and such.

I can't believe a site that is called Insidederp that looks so unprofessional is getting the estimates right on the PS4 sales, unless they do have a real insider.

They just look at vgchartz numbers add a little PS fanboy bonus and come up with their numbers like that, I don't know if it's sad or funny that they were so spot on with that method this time.
