There's just too much stuff going on around with this story; I'm gonna sit it out until all of the true details come to the surface

Good Idea, I'll comeback tommorow.

Edit: Which is what I would say if I had any common sense.

I do find the money hatting comments funny though

How do you think Sony got Bloodborne? I assure you there was money / marketing deals in place to make it an exclusive. MS simply did the same here.

Is it annoying? Yes I would have rather bought it on PS4 / PC so they could push the graphics farther, but I'm fine buying it on Xbox One as well.

Using resources to secure a 3rd party exclusive is nothing new. If you haven't learned by now its worth owning all the major consoles each generation let me assure you it is.

Boodborne is co-developed by Sony Japan and From Software. SCE funds the game. Microsoft just flat out bought out exclusivity to a game thats already in development.

Apples and oranges.

Sony Japan is co-developing Bloodborne. In no way the same thing.

Thanks jlmurph!

Also guys calm down now. Things are getting very heated right now and it's the middle of summer. It's hot enough as it is!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Duh, Meltdowns are obviously because of lots of heat.

And a first party studio; Sony Japan.

Bens point still stands.

From Software developing, SCEJ publishing.

This is a game from a 3rd party developer, being done exclusively for the PS4. Just like Tomb Raider is being done for Xbox and Bayonetta is being done for Wii U.

Huh, I was under the impression that Bloodborne was being made by the Demons Souls / Dark Souls team with Sony simply funding it? Am I incorrect?

If so thats still a 3rd party game they essentially purchased. They are paying a team that is not their own to make a game for them. Even if its their IP.

Regardless who cares? I mean seriously? Its all just video games people. Go buy an Xbox One as well as a PS4 and hell even a Wii U. It makes the hobby much better not having to worry about not being able to play games. This is far from the only 3rd party exclusive we'll see this generation.

No, From Software and Sony Japan co-developing.

BenV: Demon's souls was the same thing.. Sony didn't just publish, they also co-developed.

Same as Deep Down.

Buying another console isn't an option to some people. As for the rest just, urgh.. Anyway I won't be replying to this topic anymore.

Its getting a bit ridiculous from all sides.

Dude if you guys are mad at this............

Woo boy there's gonna be some heat next year.
