Thanks! I just sound it Odd that Norway was considered a tier two country, since we have twice the GDP per capita compared to US, but then you pointed out it was just how important the market is.

I do find it funny how countries like Belgium, Norway and Finland are Tier 2 countries just like Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic...

Those were Tier 1 countries originaly, but then MS cut 9 of them just weeks before launch, for some unknown reason.

you re wrong,as a gaming markets are small and similar to slovakia etc,so they belong to tier2 countries,do not confuse finance with gaming:P  :p

Launch month I think xbox will move some units. Here in Sweden you get 2 extra game for free on day one xbox ( Forza and FIFA 2015) and in Sweden average price of a new console game is 85 $ !!, that Alone with marketing will move units for day one xbox one,

First month: 100000 tier 2
Months after that : Max 20000 per month.

Only way to sell some decent amount will be to be 100 $ cheaper than PS4.

Sweden is a Teir 2 country but still since launch it has always been much easier to get a xbox one than findinga PS4.
PS4 couldnt be found until april but you could find xbox one in aboundance everywhere probably mostly importen from germany.

Keep dreaming of 1 miljon first week in Tier 2 :).

edit: u know most of the people in 2nd tier countries that really wanted the Xbone didnt wait for MSFT! they already have one, hell even here in Iran its about 4-5 months that the Xbone is available.

I don't understand why people are saying Japan is a Tier 2 country. Perhaps it is in regards to Xbox, but it is definately not in regards to gaming as a whole. If you remove PC gaming from the equation, Japan is likely the second largest consumer of video games, after the United States. Bigger than any one European country in the gaming realm

I am willing to bet it is because the USA has a population well over 300 million while the population of Norway is 5.00 million and shrinking.

Norways population isn't shrinking sweetie, It's growing, and the growth rate (% per year) is increasing. Don't go around splitting BS.
