Its over for the 360

You sorta sound like those Sony domination threads and Sony doom threads all rolled up into one.

I dunno to me it's over already. The Wii obviously was a big hit and is selling like crazy. The PS3 is selling better then the 360 with non of its big exclusives out. The Xbox 360 is losing steam in America, Losing in hardware and software in Europe, and is basically dead in Japan.

It's not over. When the PS3 is beating the 360 by Wiilike numbers, then I'll believe it.

It's a host of reasons - including folks picking it up as a Blu Ray player with the war over. If you think these folks will just happen to migrate over and use it for gaming, think again. Think about it - sure it's selling, but are software numbers up as well? Sony used their PS brand to pimp Blu Ray. It's paying off, but not for gamers.

Whose to say that sony wont drop the ps3's price if ms did that? 299 ps3 with gta and mgs 4 soon to follow is not half bad.

And no. No, it's not over by a long shot. There was a week last year when 360 outsold PS3 in Japan. Was it over for PS3 then? And if you're talking about how it's outsold 360 for the past 10 weeks--a legitimate argument--I have to ask you if you've ever looked at last year's sales numbers. You know, the year where 360 outsold PS3 11 out of the 12 months?

Cant wait to see what this year has to offer, its definitely gonna be the peak of the conole wars between 360 and Ps3. And when to big companies battle it out the consumer always leaves as the victor.

Well, while I'm not pessimistic enough to firmly say that the 360 is dead now, I am curious:

With 2 consoles and no success(profit wise), would this end Microsoft's foray into the living room?
