You can think what you want. I really don't care. All I know is that a lot of people on here have supported TLOU:R like it was the second coming, and yet don't believe that there should be 2 AC games on 2 different gens.

I honestly don't care if you think that I'm making this up. I'm not about to link specific people and get banned for flaming.

Goodbye and good luck. Godspeed.

I really don't know why you would make claims about a supposed "double standard" and then shy away from a call to supply even indirect proof that would have little chance of getting you in trouble (such as linking a page). Especially when linking a page could even get you ppl on your side.

From where I'm standing, your refusal to provide any kind of evidence makes it look like you're just trying to manufacture some kind of conflict between supporters of TLOU:R and the community (who either supports AC or at the very least see the similarities of the two) at large. Which is worse than flaming. So I'll just go ahead and report you. Good day.

If you read any of my posts, you would realize that I'm not trying to create any kind of conflict, at all. I was asking a legitimate question, one that many people agreed on and many people didn't.

Buf if you feel so strongly that I am trying to slander the reputation of TLOU:R (which I genuinely enjoy, by the way), feel free to report me. I honestly don't see any conflict being formed, period.

See above. Both AC:R and TLOU:R were made to bring a franchise to as many fans as possible, so I don't see how someone could love one and hate the other in terms of calling it a money-grab.

No flamebait intended, I assure you.

Where exactly are you getting the "double standards much" comparison from? Are you saying that the vast majority of people who are complaining about AC are the same people defending TLOU:R? if so, pls start pointing them out.

I mean, why even bring in TLOU:R in this thread at all?

Just read some of the responses here. Some people who love that Sony brought TLOU to both 7th and 8th gen are now complaining that Ubisoft is bringing AC to both gens.

(disclaimer: I'm not getting either AC game, I find them boring)

It is not the same, and you cannot compare 2 situations at all. TLOU is a single game, it was successful on PS3 and was ported to PS4.

AssCreed are two games, one exclusive to current gen, the other to last gen. Can't you see how people might get pissed about it?

If you love and want to play TLOU, you have a choice where. Some people played it on PS3, but some moved up to PS4 from PS3 or X360. Either way, they are given a game to play.

In AssCreed's case, you get two very different games, but you cannot experience both. Ubisoft is practically "forcing" you (I know, I know, we are not forced to do anything) to own consoles from both generations if you are a fan and want to experience the full offer at hand.

That's why some people complain, and why it cannot be considered a double standard.

Your topic would have been served better had you chosen GTA, Metro, PayDay 2, Sleeping Dogs, Diablo 3 instead of AC. Hell, even Minecraft would be suited better than your example.

So is Ubisoft forcing people to buy iPads because they have an AC game on that? Or is Sony forcing people to buy a Vita becasue they released a LBP on that?

Both TLOU:R and AC:R were made in order to bring a game/franchise to as many people as possible. I chose TLOU:R because it is the only remake that I have actually played this generation, and the one most people are familiar with.

I just don't see how you can knock down Ubisoft for making 2 games from a franchise available to the respective optomized platform in order to push AC to as many people as possible, when TLOU:R (granted, it was just a single game) used the same strategy by releasing a definitive edition bundled with all extra content for the next-gen platform. Both were made in order to bridge the gap between last gen and current gen.

You don't have to agree with my reasoning, though, like I've already said to multiple people (who still claim I'm flaming).

I enjoy both TLOU and Assassins' Creed, and it is not my intention to make fun of either game.

Let's see now...

Let's look at your original post:

-Accuses TLOU:R community of hypochrisy to cath their attention: check.

-Creates nonexistent "bashing/hating towards AC" specifically from TLOU:R supporters to create a rift between both communities: check.

-Be delibirately evasive when asked to provide proof (even from TLOU:R supporters who want to defend your position, myself included):  check.

-Approach thread with a form of perecution complex ("need to grovel at TLOU:R supporterszzz", "if you feel strongly that I am trying to slander TLOU:R...!1!1!one"): check.

Yeahhhh... I don't know how daft you think everyone here is, but it looks certainly like someone who is trying to stir the pot when there was never a problem to begin with.

So yeah, I'm done with this thread before you lump me along with the TLOU:R loving-hypocrite-AC-haters community you're so determined in creating. Good day.

whatever the reasons are for these games to exist, it doesnt matter, you r saying that TLOU:R supporters are hypocrites cuz they are bashing on Ass creed..Sry but i havent see that anywhere and you are not providing any kind of evidence either. So yeah, flamebaiting all the way

Let's look at your original post:

-Accuses TLOU:R community of hypochrisy to cath their attention: check.

Um, no? I was accusing the small number of people who were vocally against AC:R, not the entire TLOU:R community, Hell, I'm part of that community as well -_-

-Creates nonexistent "bashing/hating towards AC" specifically from TLOU:R supporters to create a rift between both communities: check.

Not nonexistent, don't believe me if you don't want to. I have no secret agenda which you are accusing me of.

-Be delibirately evasive when asked to provide proof (even from TLOU:R supporters who want to defend your position, myself included):  check.

I already pointed out that there were plenty of posts in the thread. You want me to cite specific people, which you would probably then accuse me of flaming. Not gonna happen, it's not my goal to create animosity between me and others right now.

-Approach thread with a form of perecution complex ("need to grovel at TLOU:R supporterszzz", "if you feel strongly that I am trying to slander TLOU:R...!1!1!one"): check.

I said that I genuinely like the game, but groveled excessively so people wouldn't bash me as a hater, which you seem to be trying to do right now.

Good day.

For the second time, goodbye and godspeed.

I said some supporters who are vehemently against AC:R are contradicting themselves. You make it sound like I generalized the whole TLOU:R community, which I didn't (for the second time, I'm pretty much a member of the community as well, since I love the game).

And you calling the games "Ass Creed" isn't flamebaiting people who like those games? C'mon.

Edit: BTW, this thread has been up for a while, and no one has accused me of flaming until days later. Alright.
