See above. Both AC:R and TLOU:R were made to bring a franchise to as many fans as possible, so I don't see how someone could love one and hate the other in terms of calling it a money-grab.

I said some supporters who are vehemently against AC:R are contradicting themselves. You make it sound like I generalized the whole TLOU:R community, which I didn't (for the second time, I'm pretty much a member of the community as well, since I love the game).

And you calling the games "Ass Creed" isn't flamebaiting people who like those games? C'mon.

Edit: BTW, this thread has been up for a while, and no one has accused me of flaming until days later. Alright.

"A lot" does not mean the majority. It's a vague term meaning not a little amount, but not an insane amount. In no way was I tring to imply that the majority of the fanbase contradicts itself.

Anyway, I'm just gonna go ahead and apologize for any misunderstandings. I'm not digging at every TLOU:R fan in existence, just a specific few. I don't have any kind of seperate agenda, not do I mean to imply that TLOU:R isn't a masterpiece (it is).

So be it. I'm not sure where you get the impression I'm saying you're a TLOU fan (I didn't say so anywhere), nor do I get why comparing the market strategy of 2 different games is an issue. If you feel it is though, alright. Thanks for your input, I'll keep it in mind next time I'm making a thread.

Wow I did not realize that rogue was set during the seven years war that's totally awesome. As a fan of historical games I have never been disappointed any AC game. Not only that, it has also become the benchmark for the third person action platforming genre.

I feel that the decision to make separate games for the 2 console generations is an excellent and inclusive idea, which caters to all AC fans. I personally enjoy my annual 30+ romp through fantasic historical settings.

No other game provides us with that experience.

If I try to mention that I'm not trying to flame the game and I genuinely like it, I get bashed for having a condescending attitude. If I don't mention it, I get accused of posting flamebait and trying to put a wedge between the entire fanbase.

I just can't win, I guess.

Yeah u r right and im wrong, i mean, we werent arguint about that but you felt the need to say that and u couldnt help it. It happens to me all the time is just natural. I like yogurt, i think is a little to expensive but im not trying to imply that is not worth it (it is)

Most apparent example- Is how the opinion about paying to play online changed after Sony introduced their PS+ service, sure they were somewhat clever by renting out old games but basically you have to be subscribed if you want to play online. Also it´s funny how a similar service like EA Access gets hated by the very same people, I´m sure the opinions would have been quite less hateful if Sony didn´t block this service and therefore became Xbox exclusive.
