Based on the way your OP is written, that's exactly what the thread is about.  Did you just want everyone to post agreement with you?  Apparently you would rather we all just post "Yes, you're right, it's a double standard" and move on.

We're not bashing Assassin's Creed.  At least I'm not.  You're asking why there's a double standard.  I'm explaining why some people might criticize one but not the other.

No, the OP was asking why people bash this while liking TLOU:R, which accomplishes almost the exact same thing.

I did NOT compare it to COD or NSMB, nor did I mention anything about an annual franchise. That was brought up by you guys, and it's off topic.

You're not understanding.  People don't form opinions about these things in a vaccuum.

You're not understanding. This thread has nothing to do with AC compared to other annual franchises (some of which are great, like Pokemon). 

If you want to talk about that, go make your own thread and bash it there.

If you can point out a single example of a person who likes TLOU:R while bashing Assassin's Creed, I'll try to explain why (although I already did, you just don't like the answer).

I like Ubisoft but you seem to have decided that I'm bashing them.  So goodbye.

Where exactly are you getting the "double standards much" comparison from? Are you saying that the vast majority of people who are complaining about AC are the same people defending TLOU:R? if so, pls start pointing them out.

I mean, why even bring in TLOU:R in this thread at all?

Just read some of the responses here. Some people who love that Sony brought TLOU to both 7th and 8th gen are now complaining that Ubisoft is bringing AC to both gens.

You can think what you want. I really don't care. All I know is that a lot of people on here have supported TLOU:R like it was the second coming, and yet don't believe that there should be 2 AC games on 2 different gens.

I honestly don't care if you think that I'm making this up. I'm not about to link specific people and get banned for flaming.
